The story
Ten women followed the tea country from Kandy to Ella by train, leaning out of the open doors as the hills rolled by. There were temple visits at dawn, a cooking class in a family kitchen and a slow afternoon on a hillside tea estate.
We closed on the south coast, watching the stilt fishermen at Koggala and swapping stories over one last curry together.
